Dr. Engleman had two talents in life: performing root canals and performing merciless acts of brutality without remorse. Which some might say amount to the same thing. Over the course of 30 years, Engleman supplemented his dental income by moonlighting as a contract killer.
From 1958 to 1980, Engleman killed at least seven people for profit and possibly a few more for fun. He enjoyed planning out his murders with the surgical precision of a scalpel, then striking with the sudden violence of a sledgehammer.
